We received thank you’s for Catholic Schools Week!
Below are letters from Dr. Karen McNay, president of Sacred Heart Schools, and Sacred Heart Academy senior Grace Davis, Student Council president, expressing greetings and gratitude to the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville during Catholic Schools Week.

From Dr. McNay’s letter:

“One group I’d like to call special attention to is our Ursuline Sisters of Louisville. It is hard to convey our deep gratitude to this group of faithful pioneers. Since they arrived in Louisville in 1858, the Ursulines have been enriching the lives of others through teaching and other acts of service.

They are devoted to their Catholic faith, committed to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and follow a vowed life of consecration and prayer united with good works.

For 145 years, the Ursuline Sisters of Louisville have operated, supported, and sponsored the schools on our beautiful Ursuline campus. It is difficult to find a native Catholic Louisvillian who hasn’t been taught and influenced by the Ursuline Sisters. Their reach is vast, their influence mighty, and their legacy intact.

Please join me in thanking the Ursuline Sisters for giving us the gift of Ursuline education.”
